Our criteria is split into residential and buy to let, so use the options below to find the criteria you need.

Japanese Knotweed

Specifies if we are able to potentially accept applications where there is evidence of Japanese knotweed at the property or near the property.

We will not lend on a property with Japanese Knotweed. We might be able to assist if this was historic and there are suitable guarantees in place

Joint application sole occupier

Indicates if we will accept joint applications where one applicant will NOT reside in the property. For example, a father and son are looking to buy a property together that only the son will live in.

We are able to accept joint applications where one applicant will NOT reside in the property.

Joint application sole proprietor

Indicates if we will accept applications from joint borrowers where only ONE applicant will OWN the property. A good example would be a close family member who wants to help increase the borrowing capacity.

We accept Joint Borrower, Sole Proprietor applications. Both applicants can live in our security but they are unable to provide any of the deposit. Key things to note:
• Available on residential, BTL, expat and holiday let lending.• UK based applications = maximum of 4 applicants and 4 incomes.• Expat applications = maximum of 2 applicants and 2 incomes.• 80% LTV.
• Repayment, part and part, or interest only accepted.
Please note that the below are the acceptable applicants on a JBSP application:
  1. Parent
  2. Grandparent
  3. Step-parent
  4. Sibling
  5. Child
  6. Spouse / Partner
  7. Foster parent/sibling – on referral only
Joint Borrower, Sole Proprietor is not available on Right to Buy applications.
