TV and radio personality Bill Turnbull to speak at Ipswich Building Society’s Annual General Meeting
Ipswich Building Society will host an Audience with Bill Turnbull at its 167th Annual General Meeting and ‘All In’ membership event meeting taking place on 29th March. Bill, who moved to Suffolk following 15 years presenting BBC Breakfast, is current host of the BBC One quiz show ‘Think Tank’, as well as a weekend mid-morning show on Classic FM. He reached the latter stages of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2005.
Bill will join Ipswich Building Society’s Chairman, Sarah Evans and CEO, Richard Norrington, at the event taking place at Trinity Park, Ipswich.
The AGM will give members an opportunity to hear about the Society’s performance in 2016, following a significant year of change for the UK and the organisation itself. Throughout the last year Ipswich Building Society has restated its commitment to local branches and its mutual status, and has continued to innovate around the needs of its members.
Bill Turnbull will take to the stage to entertain attendees with anecdotes from his career and personal life (he is an avid keeper of bees and chickens). Members will then have the opportunity to ask questions and meet Bill for photos and autographs.
The event is open to Members only and their guest. Members can register to attend by contacting their local branch, emailing [email protected] or applying online at www.ibs.co.uk/members-lounge.
