Suffolk Building Society has appointed Bethany Hillman as Business Development Manager for central London. Reporting to Head of Intermediary Relations and Mortgage Sales, Charlotte Grimshaw, Bethany will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships with intermediaries, ensuring they continue to benefit from the flexible service that brokers value.

The creation of this new role highlights the Society’s commitment to supporting its intermediary partners. While Bethany will be supporting brokers in central London, those firms identified as key accounts will continue to be managed by Key Account Manager, Andrew Sadler. Andrew will also continue to be the Society’s primary liaison with mortgage clubs and networks.

Bethany joins with a wealth of experience in the financial services sector, having spent the last seven years in the mortgage industry. She has been a Mortgage and Protection Adviser for the past four years.

Commenting on her new role, Bethany Hillman said: “I am looking forward to expanding the Society’s reach in central London. By providing pre-DIP approvals, manual underwriting and direct access to underwriters, brokers can rely on the Suffolk team to help them shape cases and proactively advance applications.”

Charlotte Grimshaw, Head of Intermediary Relations and Mortgage Sales, Suffolk Building Society added: “Bethany will be a huge asset to Suffolk Building Society, bringing with her key learnings from her time as an adviser – something we’re sure she’ll use to her advantage to further strengthen our service proposition.”

Bethany’s previous roles have seen her work with mortgage professionals throughout the Suffolk area, including Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury. As a result, she shares the Society’s dedication and commitment to the local community.
