On Saturday 20 May, the Hadleigh Show returned for its 184th show at Holbecks Park, Hadleigh and we were delighted to be a part of it, exhibiting with our own stand.

The event exhibits some fantastic local businesses and charities and is a wonderful day to celebrate our lovely county, Suffolk. Highlights around the showground this year included archery, an art exhibition, floral and horticultural marquees, a gun dog scurry, an education tent, and the popular annual funfair!

A great day was had by all, and it was so lovely to see so many of our members. We were very lucky with the weather as the sun stayed shining for us all day. We hope everyone who came to see us enjoyed playing our connect four and beanbag game. It was great to see so many people getting involved! Congratulations to all those who won prizes on our stand, we hope you enjoy your goody bags. Our children’s backpacks made from recycled bottles, and our reusable drinks bottles also made from recycled plastic, proved very popular.

We really enjoyed sharing our stand with one of our charity partners, Lighthouse Women’s Aid, who gave out some vital information and signposting as part of our Safe Homes for Suffolk campaign. The charity supports women impacted by domestic abuse and helps with the provision of refuge accommodation.

For those of you who were unable to attend the show, a selection of photos from the day are available below. We hope to see you next year for the 185th Hadleigh Show!
