Our amazing Shelley from Saxmundham branch has been busy volunteering with the fantastic Saxmundham Green Team. The group recently spent a morning tidying the orchard area of the Memorial Field Saxmundham, which was planted in 2015 to commemorate 40 people from the town who lost their lives in the first world war.

The team got busy pruning back branches, removing plastic branch protectors and re-stacking trees needing support as they become established. The team were also under a deadline to get the park ready for a skate jam taking place during the afternoon.

Shelley really enjoyed meeting people from the town and is already looking forward to other opportunities to work with the Green Team!
