As Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk rumbles on over the summer, we’re offering you the chance to win a set of family tickets to the New Wolsey Theatre panto – all you need to do is get your sprog to write their very own original elephant story, with the theme of friendship. This builds on the themes of tolerance and firendship that are at the heart of every 'Elmer' story.
We’re not expecting Charles Dickens or J.K. Rowling level epics – just a few hundred words, increasing by age group:
Ages up to 7 years – max 100 words
Ages 7 up to 11 years – max 250 words
Ages 11 up to 16 years – max 500 words
There will be a set of tickets available for each age group so don’t worry – your teenager isn’t going to lose out to a toddler!
Entries should be submitted to [email protected], together with your child’s name and age and a contact email address or phone number. Alternatively, entries can be posted to us either in the child’s handwriting or as a typed copy, to Elephant Competition, Ipswich Building Society, PO Box 547, Ipswich, IP3 9WZ or handed in at any of our branches. Again, please remember to include the child’s name and age, an adult’s contact name and a telephone number!
Good luck!
