We love a good Suffolk country show, so we’re pleased as (Suffolk) punch to announce we’ll be attending this year’s Hadleigh Show, which will be happening on Saturday 18 May 2024 at Holbecks Park, Hadleigh, and marks the show’s 185th anniversary.
The Hadleigh Show is a fun-filled day for all the family, with highlights including archery, an art exhibition and sale, floral and horticultural marquees, a gun dog scurry, an education tent, and the ever-popular funfair!
This year’s show will power all its infrastructure with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil rather than diesel, reducing carbon emissions by 90%. Combine that with ensuring that 95% of all the waste produced at the show is recycled, with a maximum of 5% going to landfill, and this year promises to be the most environmentally friendly show yet.
Our local branch staff would love to see you at our stand, so come and find us at Row P, Stand 5 and take part in some great, family friendly, outdoor games, including giant ‘four in a row’ game and a bean bag throw. Plus, we’ve got some exciting giveaways as well, including wildflower seeds, tote bags and kids’ drawstring bags.
The show opens to visitors from 8.30am and finishes at 4.30pm and on-site parking is free. Children aged under 5 can enter for free and there are discounts for over 65s. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
