Suffolk is a county full of stunning sights, places to eat and activities to keep you busy. We’ve got branches spread all across the county, so here’s a spotlight on one area we have a branch – Woodbridge.

Kick off the morning…

Kara: ‘My day would start with a bike ride, followed by a quick dog walk before it gets too hot. You can’t beat a breakfast at Honey and Harvey!’

Grabbing a bite to eat…

Kara: ‘Lunch would be weather dependant. On a lovely hot day, I would take a drive out to the Ramsholt Arms. Otherwise, I would walk to one of my local pubs. The Cherry Tree has a lovely garden to enjoy lunch in, but the Duke of York means that I don’t have to walk up the hill to get home!’

An afternoon kayak on Suffolk waters…

Kara: ‘We store our Kayaks at the Woodbridge Yacht Club. Depending on tide times, we often spend an afternoon on the water either as a family, or with friends. The club is very friendly, and the Terrace is lovely and peaceful to relax with a book and watch the activity on the water.’

A dinner break in the evening…

Kara: ‘I love a curry! The Royal Bengal in Woodbridge is one of the best. They make recommendations for different dishes and always come up with something delicious.’

A drink to help soak in the sun going down…

Kara:Watching the sun go down anywhere with a large glass of red wine, or maybe watching a movie. The Riverside cinema has some great listings’.

A big thanks to Kara for taking us on her perfect Suffolk day around Woodbridge, we hope you took some inspiration and have a thoroughly enjoyable bank holiday.
