It gives us great pleasure to invite you to attend our AGM on Wednesday 26 March 2025 at Trinity Park, Ipswich IP3 8UH. Refreshments will be served from 5.45pm. The AGM event starts at 6.30pm.

Our AGM gives you all the information you need to know about how the Society performed in 2024, as well as a chance to meet our Board and ask questions.

After the AGM, our special guest speakers, police cyber security advisors Chris and Gemma, will talk about the common online scams seen by police, and how you can protect yourself against them.

We are delighted to offer members the opportunity to bring a guest to the AGM. Guest places may be subject to a ballot, depending on numbers.

As we’re member owned, you can have your say on the Society’s governance using your vote. All information on how to vote is available in voting packs. Eligible members will receive these from Wednesday 19 February.

Introducing our special guest speakers – Chris Bales and Gemma Theobold

Chris has worked for both Suffolk and Norfolk police for 19 years. He started with Suffolk Constabulary in community policing and then moved to a multi-agency gangs team, where he worked for six years across Suffolk. Two years ago, Chris transferred to the Norfolk Constabulary Public Protection Unit before moving to the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies Cybercrime Team. He works with organisations from all sectors to build resilience against all forms of cybercrime.

Gemma has been in policing for 9 years, with most of her career spent investigating a wide range of serious crimes. She moved into her current role in July 2024 and has since worked alongside individuals and businesses across all sectors to help them reduce the risk of becoming a cybercrime victim.

How do I register to attend?

Visit our AGM webpage and complete the form at the bottom to register your attendance. You can also use the form to register a guest.

Can I watch the AGM online?

We appreciate members may not be able to attend on the evening, so we will be livestreaming the event. You can watch along wherever you are and still pose questions to the Board, Chris and Gemma.

Simply visit our website on the evening, click on the ‘watch the AGM live online’ button, and enter your name and email address to watch on the night.

Members watching the livestream will need to vote prior to the day of the AGM.

Online voting closes on Monday 24 March 2025 at 6.30pm. If you are sending your voting form by post, this must be received by our scrutineers no later than 6.30pm on Monday 24 March 2025.
