We’re delighted to announce that after two years of not being able to hold our AGM in person, our live AGM will again return this year.
The event will take place at Trinity Park on 23rd March, with doors opening at 5.45pm for refreshments and the AGM at 6.30pm. We can’t wait to see some of you in person again.
We recently sent out our voting packs in preparation for the big day, you can find out all the details on voting and how you can get involved here. We’d love to hear from you.
Can I only watch the AGM if I attend the live event?
It will be great to see so many of you in person for the first time in years, but we know not everyone will be able to attend. That’s why we are live streaming the event directly via a link on our website, so you can watch along wherever you are.
Please ensure you complete all voting prior to the day of the event.
Introducing our guest speaker – Terry Waite CBE
We’re pleased to announce Terry Waite CBE will be our guest speaker for the 2022 AGM.
Whilst negotiating the release of Western hostages as the Archbishop of Canterbury’s special envoy, Terry Waite was seized and taken hostage himself. Held in captivity in Beirut for 1,760 days, four years of which were in solitary confinement, his spirit and faith were tested to the limit.
After his release in 1991, he wrote about his experiences, and became involved in humanitarian causes and charitable work, including becoming president of Emmaus UK, a charity supporting people to work their way out of homelessness.
Terry will take to the stage to talk about his experiences and much more, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
You can register your attendance for the event here.
