East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) have been chosen as the official charity partner for this year’s Ipswich Building Society Twilight Road Races. Charities operating in the Ipswich and Suffolk area were invited to apply for partnership with the event in association with Ipswich Building Society, Ipswich Jaffa Running Club, and Suffolk County Council.
The Twilight 5k series returns to Ipswich Waterfront on Saturday 9 May for a jam-packed afternoon of races suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities. The Twilight 10k Road Race in its sixth year returns on Friday 24 July, having attracted over 1,400 participants to the mass participation run to beat the sunset in 2019.
A number of applications seeking sole charity partner status were received this year, with EACH securing the partnership to drive their fundraising efforts to care and support children and young people with life-threatening conditions.
